Sonam on Bipasha: There is no controversy
Though there havent been reports of any cat fights between female Players Bipasha Basu and Sonam Kapoor right through the making of the film, is the friendly banter continuing post the making as well? After all, it seems rather interesting that there hasn't been any controversy built around the two women even though less than a week remains for the film's release?
Laughs Sonam, 'I think when you consciously don't create any controversy, there would never be any. When you are confident and secure about yourself, you don't get into that space where you have to worry about what the other person is doing. Also, look at Bipasha; now she is someone who doesn't have to prove anything to anyone. She has worked with Abbas-Mustan earlier (Ajnabee, Race) and they also trust her to deliver goods. On the other hand for Players they were kind enough to give me a lead role so there was no question of me getting insecure of what I was doing.
This means that while with Bipasha she maintained a cordial relationship that ensured that the film's shoot passed through smoothly, when it came to buddies like Abhishek Bachchan and Sikander Kher, it was almost like being at home. 'I know them from my childhood and have grown up with them. I always had that comfort feel with them so it only made the entire movie making a fun experience indeed,' says Sonam.
Well, we hope audience too has as much fun when they catch the flick on 6th January.
